Strong Believers, Stronger Together:
Sports Day with Purpose
A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone.
At Al-Hidayah Islamic School, we believe in nurturing the whole child — spiritually, academically, and physically.
As the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) reminded us, our bodies are an Amanah (trust) from Allah ﷻ, and maintaining physical strength and well-being is part of our responsibility as believers.
Our annual Sports Day is more than just a celebration of athleticism — it’s an opportunity for our learners to embody Islamic values such as teamwork, perseverance, resilience, and trust in Allah ﷻ.
Through friendly competition, students learn the importance of collaboration and good sportsmanship in striving toward a shared goal.
This year, we are also proud to align our event with a cause dear to our hearts.
In partnership with MATW Project (Muslims Around The World), we are using Sports Day as a platform to raise awareness and support for our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
Proceeds from items purchased on the day will be donated to aid humanitarian efforts — allowing our learners and school community to make a meaningful contribution to the Ummah.
Together, we strive to raise a generation that is strong in faith, body, and character, and conscious of their duty to care for others.
